I have just contacted Pentax UK and they confirmed that the *istD does NOT support Pictbridge. Exactly where did you find this information?

It WAS mentioned on the technical specifications for the camera on the pentax web site, both in Europe and the US. I note that the specs page on both the US and UK sites has now been changed and PictBridge support has been excised.
I have also contacted Pentax UK and they have not confirmed that PictBridge is either supported or not supported (they have failed to call me back or email me on two occassions).
This support, in accord with published specs at the time, is one of the reasons that I bought the isTd. I know the specs say "subject to change without notice", but does this not cross the line into mis-selling?
I like the istD, truly, but I am not at all impressed by Pentax UK's response to my question.

I read from the pentax web site that the camera supports PictBridge. I have a Canon i965 printer with a USB connection that supports PictBridge and I would like to print directly to this printer but I can find no way to actually trigger a print.
The canon docs say - use the camera to select each image for printing, but there appears to be nothing do-able from the camera once it is connected to the printer and there is nothing in the camera docs that mentions PictBridge.
Any clues/pointers?
Thanks
