Some nice shots Alan - particularly like the first one and you should def go to some 40s events they are great fun - especially the one at Howarth. Amazingly - I did not get a shot of any of these.
OK - so in normal goth weekend fashion - I will add a few
1. Steaming Punk

2. Red

3. The Look!

4. Pink

Pity I couldn't be there this time Alan, Irene and I were away on a break in the Severn Valley area. Hope to make it in the autumn.
BTW the girl in your third image looks like Samantha. She's the daughter of a member of Durham PS - he's a Nikon user.
Nice shots all round.

Were off to Asylum in September (if we can find somewhere to stay), I don't think funds will stretch to another break in November but may try to pop out for the day if Mrs Spider can find a suitable outfit that's comfortable to wear in the car.Hope to make it in the autumn.
Do you recognise this girl David?

Those are amazing shots from both of you and some amazing characters. Credit to them for for there time and effort they must have put in to achieve those looks and the costumes seem to get better each year.

No Alan, I can't recognise her. I bet I have her though, looking completely different in other gear and make up.Quote:

Yup!
Unfortunately I didn't get any decent shots this year, In fact I almost didn't ask as I'd seen them accosted every few yards as they came up the street.
The one I posted above was a tad overexposed and this was a quick fix with the RAW file, which I messed up, I really must learn to process RAW properly

I've not done much with these other than crop, levels and sharpen, with the exception of the first shot to which I applied a warm up filter and a little work with the healing brush.
This is the young lady who I mentioned in the "other" thread, I really love this look so maybe I should think about attending a 40s weekend
Next up is a chap who's contacts really freaked me out, fortunately he didn't bite me
Quick snap next, I have better shots of this girl but had to include the one with the teeth
One more before you all fall asleep.
