Is it the 'Window' 'Arrange' 'Tile' menu that you are after?

Mornin' Dave. NO!. I just tried that because you mentioned it but although it has changed the way of expanding or contracting the size of the photo it still just puts 1 on top of the other in a new window in Photoshop.
What I'm looking for (which I used to have) is to put 2 or more photos in the same window in Photoshop so I can transfer cut outs OR the whole photo from 1 to the other. As I said something like adding a sky from 1 photo to another OR possibly a person. I have done these things in the past but I must have changed the settings somehow.
Anyone at all out there who can help me please. PRETTY PLEASE.
CHEERS Vic.

Hi Vic, When I open more than one image in CS5 they go onto a "tag" bar in the upper part of the screen. To see them I have to drag them from there.

Here I have two files open, to put them both open in the main screen drag the title from the tag bar. You can (drag) put them back on the bar too if necessary.
Hope this helps

I think it's difficult to visualise what you are doing, but try making sure the workplace you are using is set to Essentials and then to make double sure do the reset to default settings, go Window>Workspace>Reset Essentials.
If you find images are in the wrong place, use their top bar to drag them back up into their proper taskbar. That's a tricky one to describe, but if you drag them off that bar instead to clicking and opening them they will float free.
Hope that helps, but if you're really stuck, after Christmas you can phone me and I'll talk you through it step by step over the phone.

Thanks Stan and John. I'll have a go at your solutions. Off now to get dressed for midnight mass. Tomorrow Christmas day then family coming on Boxing day then busy taking down the decorations early as we then have preparations for New Year party (We are geordies with Scottish friends) then it's time to pack for our sunshine holiday on the 4th. Jan. SO I may not get back to you before mid Jan. But I will try. It's just finding the time.
Thanks for the offer John. If all else fails I'll PM you in Jan.

Now my problem.
When I open my photos in PS CS5 first I open RAW & JPEG in RAW. No problem. It's when I go into PS. I used to be able to put 1,2,3 or more photos in the one window but somehow I've lost the ability to do this. I must of pressed something sometime and lost it and now can't get it back. When I had it, it was great for moving things from one photo to another, like skies etc. HELP HELP HELP. CHEERS Vic.
