Photography short courses for amateurs

Anyone out there aware of any good photography short courses that are run on weekends. I live in Rome, but will happily travel to the U.K or anywhere in Europe really, to get some hands on tips from the pro's and to get the opportunity to take some great landscapes in beautiful distanations.

Amateur Photographer magazine usually has adverts for that sort of thing.

As does "Outdoor Photography" magazine. And doesn't Daniel Bridge run some too?

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
