Photographing Tennis Tomorrow

Not shot any tennis before will be using ist*ds with 70-300 sigma zoom.
Can anyone offer any advice on what sort of things i should look out for and what sort of shutter/aperture settings to try ?

Was thinking 1/1500 ?

Any advice would be very much appreciated...

Certainly a high shutter speed will arrest motion. You could also try panning with the action at slower speeds to give a real sense of movement.
