I love 'em all! Every single one tells a story and gives us an insight into people's lives. Okay then, since you twist my arm, my favourites are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, with a preference for 2 and 4. What lens(es) did you use? Shame there's no EXIF (I usually forget to include it as well btw ).

On a more technical(?) note: I think some of them could have done with a little bit less exposure/more contrast? I'm no expert though.

Thanks Lidy! Sorry about the EXIF, these were all with the Sigma 70-200 all at 200mm except for the boy in pink was at 88mm, all in AV mode with aperture between f4 and 5.6, shutter between 1/320 and 1/800.

Good call about the exposure as well. I had PPed these yesterday, but decided today just before uploading that they weren't bright enough and so boosted exposure on all of them. I should have readjusted contrast at the same time.

I agree - I think these make a great set of vignettes. I rather like slow day at the office (mainly because I fancy a day like that myself), and the last two are very good candid scenes - especially the Romance of Youth. Great set to my mind.

What a super set, Tim. Lidy's right: they all do tell a story and make you think about the people. Nice if the couple were a little more side on, but you have to get what you can with this type of thing. The thoughtful fisherman's good, as well.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Fine piece of lurking Tim, you captured some images which display the art of capturing the decisive moment.

Thanks folks! This sort of photography is more than a little out of my comfort zone, so it's great to hear that they aren't completely without merit

Nerve-wracking stuff though, as you can see the guy in number one looked right at me as I clicked the shutter which started my heart racing, but thankfully he didn't come rushing over to deliver a bollocking (or knuckle sandwich )

Andrew I agree about the side-on shot of the kissing couple, I tried but just couldn't get the proper vantage point without losing the bubbly (which was what got my attention in the first place).
