Help!
I have been taking some important pics and on picture number 17 I accidently hit the open button on my camera. It just popped the tab and I closed it immediately. The problem is the camera now indicates I'm at picture number 1. I don't want to lose the pictures I have. It didn't sound like the roll rewinded back to number 1, but I don't want to take any chances. Can I go ahead and take the 7 pictures that are left? What can I do?

The counter resets to zero when the back is opened and you'll still be able to fire off the last few frames but they'll most probably be the only ones that will come out - all the ones you've taken so far are likely to be fogged!
As far as I know the 90 WR, like most film cameras, rewinds the film back into the cartridge after the final shot has been taken. Some (certain Fuji models, I believe) work in reverse ie. the film is completely wound out of the cartridge before shooting commences and then fed back into it one frame at a time, thus avoiding ruining exposed frames should the camera be opened.

I suppose you've got nothing to lose (except processing cost) but I think you'll find that you've lost all the images and my advice would be to pop a new film into the camera and try to recapture as many shots as possible.
Die my dear doctor, that's the last thing I shall do!

Thanks for the help.
I'll finish off the roll and have them developed -- and hope for the
best.
