Pentax XG1 question

I occasionally use an XG1 on casual days out rather than my usual K3. Must say the XG1 is a super camera and so easy to use. One gripe however- I cannot work out if there is an option NOT to have the date imprinted on the picture. The Quick Start Guide is no help (I got the camera as a used mint item). Would love to not have the date printed. Is there a way to do this apart from post-processing?
