I am also an idiot, can't get it to work, using my ipad, can find where I am, but can't do anything, not mark it or anything.
Maybe it dosent work on ipad?

Just noticed this is a two-year old thread so well done Steppy for picking up on it. Like many others I didn't know about the map, so should there be a link to it in the Community section? Otherwise it will disappear again into history. Steve Ledger looks a bit lonely in the Southern Hemisphere!
I don't get the menu on an iPad so will need to crank up the desktop later.

This was a nice idea that never really took off. I think many people at the time were reluctant to show their locations.

To be honest the info is already on many members' details - real name plus town means addresses can be found in telephone directories or voting register. That plus list of equipment is a handy housebreaker's guide!

There really no need to pinpoint your house though. Just vaguely in the area is good enough. I don't really live in a palace.

It should be brought back with a better version that works. People are more trusting and it would be fun
