Hi all
Pentax UK have been in touch they are looking for images taken on the new pentax K10D and K100 cameras for use in future activity. They will be paying for material used and in the first instance would like to see some great shots.
You could post them up in this thread and I'll invite them to come and look. Please have a look through your work and only submit the very best - up to three pics. The pics need to clearly illustrate how good the cameras are at certain subjects. Any subject considered as long as the photo really does the camera justice.
Cheers and good luck
Pete

I have sooo many to choose from that were taken with the K10D. But here are three:

The Upholsterer's Cat

Unfortunately the cat's nose is fractionally out of focus, but the detail in the chair is incredible. Taken with an AF540+brolley and AF360 trigger. Used the SMC-DA 12-24 at almost point-blank range. Photoshop-blacked the background which was cluttered.

The SMC-F 50mm f/1.4 really shone on this one. The K10D pretty much handled the massive dynamic range and gave razor sharp detail. Used the grip and caught this grab shot.

Set up a small studio at a kids party. Used the AF540 and brolley plus a reflector on the RHS. Used the SMC-FA 24-90. I was mighty pleased with the detail and colour on this!

Enjoy!

Well, it wasn't
It was a typo - Firefox auto-filled in the camera model - and I submitted before I could do anything! DOH!

My second comment posted about the image said:

Actually this was taken on the K10D (not *ist-D) - which is one good reason why it's so detailed
Alas! There's no way to update camera info on epz once submitted

EDIT: Unless Pete Bargh changes the field Thanks Pete

Will sort out a couple more, but times like this I wish I had a Pentax macro lens instead of the Sigma, as my macro shots are the ones I'm most proud of, and which show off the capabilities of the camera (and me of course )
