The cheap adapters on eBay can have their problems. It is really best to get an original Pentax adapter. Unfortunately following recent price rises they are ridiculously expensive. If you can get a reasonably priced (circa £20) second hand they are well worth it. If you do a search on the various Pentax forums you will find lots of information.
