Pentax Q digital zoom

Just wondering if anyone on the forum who uses K mount lenses on their Q via an adapter knows how to activate the digital zoom.

With a standard Q lens it can automatically digitally zoom in to help manual focusing the moment you turn the focus ring. Obviously with communications severed as they are between a K mount lens and the Q this isn't something which can happen automatically, but is it an option you can manually trigger somehow?

Would be a bit easier for me when using the Q for macro work.

Press the OK button

Seriously? That's it? I feel foolish now...I'll go test.

Hmmm. Doesn't seem to work for me.

In the Menu under MF, do you have focus assist selected?

Just turned it off on mine, and as you'd expect the OK button did nothing. Turned it back on to 4x and lo and behold it works again

Ah! My mistake! The Q had gone back to factory settings and I forgot these weren't default settings! Cheers!
