I was actually thinking someone would think my idea awful but like it and therefore quote that line of Dick Emerys, but I think I prefer Dougs take on it

I happily admit to my age. And I remember making tanks from wooden cotton reels. Can't do that any more. Mutter mutter moan moan.
Now Dick Emery I'd rather forget. In fact I had until Alan resurrected him .
