It rounds out the Q range nicely. It's now a more extensive range than the 110 film system ever was, so it must be doing quite well enough to carry forwards.
I'm pleased with my Q kit, it does have a place, but tend to use it for specific purposes rather than carrying it all the time.

That is a lot but surely the street price will end up lower.I saw the price of the Q 08 lens and nearly had a heart attack. Well over £400 !!!
I wouldn't mind one but it would have to drop to half that, be it new or second hand.

I'm pleased with mine but am the opposite. leave it in the glove compartment and carry it around in my pocket for the opportunistic shots,

At last a lens for my Q that will allow me to use it for landscape and cityscapes
BUT - at that price or close to it - I would sooner spend the money on a new 'proper' lens for the 'real' camera!
Looks like the Q will remain a carry round for grab shots of the children - shame!

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

It's a silly price. 21-33mm equivalent on the Q isn't really wide enough and it's slow, which means you have to bump up the iso on the Q which is to be avoided if possible. Disappointing.
