PENTAX OPTIO 33L error

Seams like u got a usb driver or hardware problem, nothing with cam.
If other usb hardware allso does not workin, (if other usb stuff works, then stop reading this bs) try next:
Try to upgrade your usb controller drivers and check usb cable connections inside your pc. try the usb controller with other kind hardware - printers, mouse, etc. If other stuff works fine and your camera does not ... go back to store and say lots of F words

I have the same problem! I have XP and it dosent show the removeable device in My Computer. When I first installed the USB driver and connected the camera, it said: Found Pentax... and then - that some error occured and device might not work After that it never shows the removeable device icon again... One thing more, other devices have worked with USB, but one time a friend connected a CF card reader and it didnt work as well, maybe a problem only with CF cards??

Well... now i have made a complete fool out of myself...
There was no problem actually... only one and in the beginning - then i first connected the USB cable and camera I did't push the cable all the way into the hole and because of that XP told that error occured
So remember ALWAYS to push the cable all the way!

i just bought a pentax optio 33L. The camera itself works fine but for some reason when i plug in the camera to my PC, it will not detect it. This is vert frustrating as i just spent close to 500 dollars on the camera and equipment but i CANT UPLOAD THE PICTURES.
