a very slightly, maybe not related quesiton- what's the point of the Classified Ads section?
Why would someone use this over the busy Classified Adverts forum?

Which came first? The Classified Ads section, for which we pay a small fee.
Then the forum section was added as a service to forum members, and it's free.
Both are available still, as some seem to prefer the original. The choice is there, and there's no downside to it.
