I tried one once on my K10D and didn't like it. It certainly is small but IQ wise it is far from a not much bigger 50mm. Of course on film differences wont be as noticeable.
If I were to find a cheap though I'd take in no time.

It seems like a good price, they say its 'As New' which, from my experience with them so far means it really will be. This is where I got my MX from, the last few weeks I've given it a bit of hammering and its working perfectly

I have a supplier -here in Oz- willing and able to provide one of these lenses (comparable price to Ffordes -in local currency), and I think I will give it a go.
The info on the web regarding this lens has tended to "damn it with faint praise".
However, I'm willing to have a go, even if only for the novelty value of it.

Check out the Mint MX I bought from FFordes, complete with orginal box, packaging and instructions,all seals intact and not sticky- incredible!

Nice When did you get that then? I've been checking back there now and again & I didn't see that. The black ones do look nice, personally though i'm not sure if I like it as much as the chrome body... I'm not sure!
As for the 40mm, depending what camera you use it on, it might make the camera a bit awkward to hold as you can't support the camera properly, or as you usually would. Having not used one I can't really say!

The MX arrived yesterday, so i think i bought it monday, once i saw it listed that was it - didn't even think about not buying it!
