I finally decided to sell one of the MXs.

My endeavours with this camera are portrayed here and here. So you can know as much about it as I do.

I got this better picture of the line I talked about in the other thread.
This line isn't a problem because you focus your eye on the focus screen, but you do see it when you take your eye to the viewfinder.

The camera would be supplied with this tatty case:

One of a variety of straps, original and not (including one commemorative, says Pentax 10 million).

A remote shutter cord, the viewfinder cover (if I can find it ), a body cap and an old viewfinder hood thingy (curved which isn't very nice for my glasses).
Also included is this flash (tested working with camera, but no batteries included)

Personally, I never buy when an auction says "no returns accepted".

"No significant scratches" seems a somewhat less than accurate description. I can see plenty of very significant scratches in the images.

I get what you mean, Mannesty, I do say
"Cosmetic Condition:
Used, in good state, with no significant scratches or dents. Most of the marks you can see are from brassing and do not have an indentation on the chassis.
Camera has been cleaned by me with care (this was not a professional job though)."

The ones that you see on the front of the body are marks, but they dont dig into the body, thats why I ont call the scratches. The picture is there exactly to show that the marks are there.
The one on the bottom plate is a scratch, but in that area it is much less significant.

George,
Personally I do sometimes take that risk. I did it to protect myself. Sometimes what people expect is not what they perceive to get, no matter how good things are. But I can appreciate wanting to play it safe.

I am not trying to cheat anyone. I have in fact even returned all the money on ppl who claim they never received their item (happened twice). The services were cheapest, so not traked or delivery confirmation. I trusted. Now I onyl offer signed for or airsure for outside the UK.

I've always assumed that "no returns accepted" simply means the purchaser can't return the item if they change their mind? My items are always listed that way (except for a very expensive pen I sold where I appreciated the buyer may wish to inspect the item before fully committing).

If the item is not as described then I would expect that you can return for a full refund anyway, under ebay rules?

TonyM, yes of course.
I know it can happen for people to be careless and get a lens that doesn't mount or that isn't what they thought it was, simply because they don't read thing properly. It has happened to me, I did not return the item, it is my fault. This is my personal view, I don't advocate that people do this. But I don't want people to be careless and then waste my time and money.
