Pentax Microscope Attachment SV

No quite sure what this attachs to the microscope as I have inherited this from a relative.

The box says for Pentax SV and it has a screw thread at one end.

Looking at fleabay these go for around £50 but as I am not sure what it is I am looking for £30 plus £5.95 delivery

Why don't you try and get a bit more on eBay. It's a very specialized item and would do better in front of a wider audience. If you reckon they go for £50, then try for £35-£40 - maybe you'd get more.

As it happens, I was given one a year or so ago and will no doubt put it on eBay sometime. If I could get £50 for it I'd be pretty thrilled!

I'd second that - M42 to microscope eyepiece adapter.
If you get a PK-M42 adapter you could use it on your K5

Also agree that ebay would probably get you a higher price

Thanks for the advise guys, looks like its off to the great auction house on the web, can't see much use if I get the K5 as I do mainly Motorsport shots. Will list probably at the weekend so available until then.

Yes indeed, but you'd need a microscope with as compatible barrel. I actually do have a Gamages microscope somewhere from my youth so perhaps I ought to try and find it and see what happens! In any event, I'm sure someone might find them invaluable as I doubt they are currently available new. Mine could be considered new old stock as it came from Jessop's stock clearout.
