Fernando,
I just brought all my cameras and lenses into the room and made them look at your beautiful photo. We all agreed that you've got a winner there.
Congratulations!
Then I asked them how come I never get shots like that? There was an embarassed silence.
Then it dawned on me.
It's me.

Mac,
That's the problem with Pentax lenses. I suggest you sell them all and buy Canon. That way, whenever you produce a bad picture, you can credibly blame it on the brand.

Funny thing is that I paid 15.50 Ca$ for this lens, makes me think about all the money I'm shelling out to buy new lenses...
BTW, thanks for the comments

Marvellous shot, Fernando. I've got that lens in my camera bag and have never used it! Your image has inspired me to dig it out tonight ready for tomorrow.
Best regards,
Phil.

Phil,
Happy to motivate the "undusting" process. The real thing is that I was just shooting something to justify the purchase of this lens, but end up liking the little bit wider view that it gives (with 1.5 crop factor) compared to the FA35 when it comes to "urban landscapes". Again, the FA35 is always mounted on the DS (until I get the DA 16-45mm... oh, this gearhead syndrome again...). Anyway I haven't started talking to my lenses yet. Mac, that's the next stage in this obsessivus-lens-buyer disease that I suffer?

At least lenses can't talk back (at least, not yet). All they can do is gaze at you reproachfully with a one-eyed unblinking stare.
