Pentax lens on ebay

I was outbid as well. I was in two minds about bidding because the seller has no previous sales history and the product photos were poor considering the guy was selling top notch lenses. If all is well the buyer of this and the 85mm got bargains.

I also had a go. The seller was in the London area and was happy to meet up and exchange the lens for cash, so it looks like a bargin.

I saw it but already have one.
Ebay certainly punishes "IDIOTS"
Same seller got £573 for "Pentax prime lens" which was
a well hidden Pentax FA* 85mm f/1.4 ... not even mentioned
in the listing link
Three days ago someone sold a "lens pentax" for only £115
it was actually the Samsung version of the Pentax SMC DA 16-45mm
f/4.0 ED/AL and had hardly been used. link
I didn't bid on any, because I've too many lenses as it is.

I saw these two and was intrigued to see what they would go for - certainly a couple of bargains there IMO. Would have had a last minute punt on the FA* 85 but it had gone over my (admittedly pretty low) self-imposed 'punt ceiling' about 10 minutes before the end...

Very good deals but what strange listings. If you have those lenses then you are a photo geek like your buyers, you know what they are worth and how to describe a lens properly. Fishy. Then again he did buy an L series lens.
