You can check if it's on by turning on the camera, and getting a focus lock. If the little hand shows up in the eyepiece - it's on. If not, it's off.

It is a design flaw of K10D. I think that Pentax repairs any K10D with broken SR switch for free? This is the case in China at least. You may call Pentax to confirm.

Just for interest, the final price for this on eBay was £228.67, so demand for K10D cameras seems to be holding up well.

There will always be a demand for decent, well-priced DSLRs which boast legacy lens support.

Pros: Well cared for, no damage, only slight marks of use, fully functional except for one point detailed below, very low image count of 2903.
Cons: SR switch has fractured off, unknown whether currently on or off.
