I don't know if anybody noticed, but the Pentax-D FA 645 25 mm lens is on the Pentax webstore list with a selling price of $4999.95.

Silver Ltd's don't seem new-except to Europe.

Spoon-fed sales techniques?

In keeping with Hassled & Bladdered's offering of $4396 for their 28mm offering.

WRT Mike P's post of new Canon lenses and comments of cost etc, I don't expect to see punters or pro's queuing to buy Pentax MF lenses.

Anyone buying into such systems from new needs to budget around $30K.

Makes a 400mm f/2.8 seem well cheap.

I saw the lights on but the door remains unanswered comes to mind.

Criticism is a low form of wit, to which I add:

"what happens if you put your hand inside a psychics pants"?

.....you get a prediction.....

...

The FA Limiteds have been available in silver for ages now.

The DA Limiteds however are newly available in silver finish.

I'll get my coat...

If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

Apparently.

It was Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone, not Dennis the Menace.
