Pentax K-3 - warm grip and freezing :)

I bought 10 months old Pentax K-3. Today I tested lenses and tried to fine adjust AF with Moire tuning technique. Of course the camera was on tripod, so I didn’t hold the grip. But at the end (after about one hour) I noticed that the grip of the camera is warm, warmer than my hand. I took out the battery (original Pentax); of course it was warm too. I owned K10, K20 and K-5 and haven’t ever noticed something like that, so I wonder if it is normal. I’ve used Live view a lot today. Can Live view mode cause the warming? Does anybody have a similar experience?
Another problem is that camera stopped responding with lit screens and mirror up in Live view mode. All the buttons were dead, so I turned the camera off, but nothing happened. After a few seconds it went off, the mirror felt down, I turned it on and it worked normally. The camera has last firmware installed. I read on forums about that problem with K-3, but I can’t remember any solution. I think I’ll have to get it inspected in the shop by the expert. It still has 2 months of warranty.
Thanks for any suggestion.

FWITW, never had this effect so far with my K-3 & 3rd party grip - does sound like a body problem.
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)
