Pentax in New York

An 8 day Birthday Trip to New York turned into a 'Trip From Hell' -- caught pneumonia after 3 days of Cold and Rain and spent 7 hours in Hospital -- came out on Birthday feeling like a Zombie and stayed in bed -- then lots of trouble with Doubletree Hotel and our Tour Agent over our transfer home --- I took one of my ME Supers for 01/2008 dated Konica VX 400 Super and a P30n for Ilford Delta B&W-- the ME Super let me down with most under-exposed but it had been OK with outdated Velvia 50 before. Even though I set 200 ASA for the C41 negs were 'Thin' and BOOTS of Brentwood did a good job with the prints -- I tested ME Super today against a Weston Master set to 200 ASA and to get ME Super to agree I had to set to to 100 ASA.

I like these! Well, the last one doesn't do a lot for me but the others are great. New York without being cliché New York.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. I hope you were well insured.

Oh and a belated Happy Birthday.
