Superb lens - much lighter than its f2.8 counterpart - and a good price!
For less than 10% of that price they also have a F series 70-210 - the most violent focusing Pentax lens ever, but still a great performer!

And now it's gone! If its new home is with a forum member, thank you for helping to keep my local photographic shop in business .

I hope you get a lot of pleasure from the lens - and even more from the knowledge that you are helping to keep a photographic shop on my high street .

Great, maybe I might call in one day, not a million miles away, sometimes we pass through but these days I'm a carer and limited to travel. Many thanks. Looking forward to using it, my old vintage vivitar 70 to 200 suddenly developed fungus, so decided to go for a newer model, having had previous fungus on a very old original to me tamron 70-200 with fungus.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Same here. Life changes, horizons have to shrink, stick to what is possible and be grateful for what you do have.but these days I'm a carer and limited to travel.
It's one reason why I've turned to macro in recent years. To a ladybird, my gardens are absolutely enornous, so looking at things through a ladybird's eyes means there's a lot to explore without even leaving home .
Let me know If you ever do manage to head my way, it would be nice to put a face to a forum name.
