I saw this add today for a Pentax Fa 77mm F1.8 limited Smc, thought someone might be interested. The advert has nothing to do with me I am not selling it just passing on info.

I have had 12 replies on the first day i have put this on gumtree. Obviously i am happy about this but feel maybe that i should have put it on for a little more money.

Are you all willing to bid for it? ie offer the best price you will pay?

I don't want to put you off as i need the money to buy a printer but as you can imagine being a student - every penny counts ! Hopefully i could maybe get just a little more money and be able to buy a better printer ...

If you only want to spend £200 - you should say so too - as if you all say only £200i will have to sell for that amount.

somehow something troubles me greatly about this......

I paid 56,000 Yen for mine used in Japan recently (about 360 pounds), and it came with a 6-month guarantee, and it's a fine lens.....

If ' Alistair' wants more than 200 pound he should be more specific...

I paid AU$540 (£220approx)used for mine, with warranty. So his asking price is not that cheap. But he should be definitive about his asking price and not switch to an auction when it suits him.
