Pentax Digital Spot Meter

Have just bought one of these on shear impulse because it seemed to be going for a good price and less than they fetch on ebay.

Has anybody used one? Are they as good as their reputation?

I note they are still available new if you are willing to part with more than £600 for one.

I suspect I may play with it a while to see if I like it and if I don't - it goes on ebay!

Used as directed they are usually very consistant, but not necessarily accurate.
Consequently you may still need to take a test shot or two, and oncwe you've determined the error allow for the offset on your camera.
