Pentax DA 40mm f2.8 XS

Hi I have a Pentax DA 40mm f2.8 XS that i am not using since the purchase of FA 50/1.4. It is mint condition and was originally purchased from SRS back in December 2012 by other forum member from SRS. I only have it about 4 months.

Out of curiosity: am I missing a lens cap on the first picture? Or is it on and is it more inconspicuous than the lens itself (yes, my wife actually ‘warned’ me I did nog have a lens on the camera). I know mine came without so I bought a cheaper than chips one at dx.com.

The one I have is really very nice: very fast and reliable AF on my camera and starts out sharp and only gets better. I like the way it renders too. Very enjoyable lens, more so than the DA 35 f/2.4 for me which I sold and at £120 a steal imo. Though I should add that I’ll probably be selling mine too once the FA 43 comes in

The lens cap is there it is just supporting the lens so I can make a picture. This lens is very thin and didn't want to stud still without support.
Yes it looks quite funny on K-30, it is more like a camera cap.

Forgot to mention it comes with front and rear lens cap, all genuine as it comes from shop.
