Space for a spare battery & a spare SD card only. CHEERS Vic.

Thanks Vic. I have one of the cheap copies and it does not have the space either. I would have thought the the relative sizes of the two grips are the same, so they could have got the remote to fit.

To be honest I found having the remote inside the grip on the K20D was a pain in the proverbial, a slot on the outside of the grip and a remote designed to slide into place would have been far easier, it could also have been done on the camera base.
As for additional card storage I don't think even that's necessary with todays high capacity cards.

I agree about the cards, but wonder about protection with the remote outside.
