Indeed it does There's a little slider that locks it.
The genuine CS-205 does... I'm not sure about the "compatibles" though.

It's quite a tidy bit of kit the official CS-205 - I have one from my *ist-D...
Shame it doesn't do the full load of tricks like my TS-110 for the MZ-S / 645nII - any body know if there's an adapter available that will allow me to plug the TS-110 into the K10D jack plug?
Will
PS - somebody was after a copy of the TS-110 manual but I can't remember who? I found it at the weekend if you need a copy scanning...

Haven't seen one... yet. Only other option would be to cut the existing cable (leaving enough at the MZ-S connector end), mount a 2.5mm stereo plug on the controller end, and a 2.5mm stereo socket on the MZ-S connector end. That way you'd be making your own adaptor any body know if there's an adapter available that will allow me to plug the TS-110 into the K10D jack plug

I'm not quite that much of a handyman and would hate to make a mess of a very useful bit of kit - how much do you usually charge for this kind of service Matt?
Hmmmm... it has made me think I might see if I can find a cheaper option off ebay to hack about before I go cutting up my original!
