I bought this from a forum member (now defected to Nikon, but still visits occasionally) some time ago and have not used it enough to warrant keeping it. I've since built my own twin flash rig for macro work and this is now surplus to my needs.

It is complete, in exceptionally good condition, battery compartment is pristine, all 3 lens adapters are present (49, 52, 58mm), as is the manual. It has its original foam lined box and the original cardboard packaging.

Price to be discussed privately.

PM if interested.

What are the functionalities available if you use it on a K10D?

100% output every time. You'll need to use the camera on manual and set the aperture for correct exposure.

The AF140C is a TTL flash but the K10/20D does not support TTL. It actually works very well with the K10/20D bodies in manual.

Only the *istD and *istDS Pentax digital bodies fully support TTL flash.

Thanks.
Is it possible to tweak the output of the left and right sides of the ringflash, or does it fire uniformly?

There is a 3 position switch on the back of the flash head to change the lighting from left pair, both pairs, or the right pair of flash tubes. It has 4 flash tubes in total. It also has left & right modelling lights.

The output light level is controllable only with TTL automation. Output of individual tubes/pairs of tubes is not manually adjustable.

For price comparison, The Metz 15 MS-1 costs around £275 from Warehouse Express, the Sigma EM-140 DG is around £245. Who knows what the Pentax AF160C will cost or when it will become available. These three flashes are P-TTL capable, the AF140C is a TTL flash.
