Pentax 67 II Shutter Speed Dial

I've just acquired a 67 II and I'm trying to get familiar with the operations. The Shutter Speed Dial will operate and rotated without depressing the lock button - is this normal or is there a problem. Any help appreciated. Steve.

Hi Steve,
This is totally normal. You only have to use the lock button if you want to set the camera to A (automatic) or X (flash sync)
