In all fairness it was, I checked for myself as been thinking about this for a while, don't get payed till Friday so was going to go for it then.
Now just checked back again and the price has shot straight back up again, I mentioned on a earlier thread about srs getting their pricing sorted, this just does not help matters at all.

At £749 srs would have had my business, oh and I don't like their new website either( that's me being upset thinking I could afford that lens)
