I got excited, but you put FA star in the title not A star.

Not that it isnt a fine lens..

Thanks.

Nobody is there to buy this one?
Surprising, really.

Are you guys finding the price hard or something disturbing in the snaps here?
I have seen M star lens here for 350 Pound and I am asking the same for a A lens

Well I might have been interested if I hadn't already got myself a DA* 300mm.

Not sure why it's had little response. Perhaps you would be open to offers, or offer postage rather than just pick-up only? Surprisingly few people on this forum live in the London area.

The M* 300 didn't sell here or on ebay.

Perhaps we are all dreaming of Richard's A*300 f2.8 ED IF? Somewhat more than 300 though, I fear! I'd be interested if I hadn't just bought a DA 12-24mm which has emptied the coffers rather.

Best wishes, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Actually I was asking "around £300".

It did in fact sell it on eBay (£250)

Did you re-list it? I'm glad you managed to sell it eventually. They both look lovely lenses (yours and the current one) but TBH I use wide-angle much more than telephoto. I have to put a break on my LBA somewhere!

Cheers, Kris.

I am rather surprised at the lack of interest too I must say. I looked for ages for one of these in the eighties before I found my F*300 and then the A*300 f2.8 that Kris mentioned above. Anyway good luck with the sale.

I see, so be it, I mean such lens for me can always have 50 Pound plus or minus when buying or selling.
Actually I preferred local pick up as I am have no paypal (failed to make one as I am not good in net), and I am happy to talk lens and might come low or add a 2X TC while selling this one. It really is not for selling the lens, it is for buying something else.

Thanks for your boost, let's see.

I didn't re-list and it took about 2 weeks to sell. I just hope I don't regret selling it in the future

I think the "Pick up only" may be the problem - it's not worth a 600+ miles round trip to me. Andrew

Can include a 2X Pentax teleconverter A type for the same £350 or any offer nearby this price.
What do you say?

£350 for an old manual-focus lens is slightly on the high side, in my view, and pick-up only is crazy. You're excluding 95% of potential buyers.
