Anyone here got one of these and if so is it dinky dee?

Is it one step down in quality from the 33/40/77 limiteds? It's very small and light and is just about what I feel is a standard lens being around 35mm equivalent on full frame.

Thanks

I've got one and I use it a lot. It is "dinky dee" and is excellent for street photography. It is pretty sharp but there is also noticeable barrel distortion so for landscapes with horizons (and similar subjects) you may need to spend time correcting the barrel distortion post capture. The f/3.2 maximum aperture doesn't really affect my use of it. On balance it's a great little lens at a good price.

Hi there.

I have the 21mm Limited and I think it is an excellent walk-around lens that you could keep on the camera all day.
Very light and the hood is brilliant.

The lens is very sharp in the centre frame, but a little distortion can be seen at the far edges sometimes.
A nice bright lens. Overall produces sharp contrasty pics.

One I would go for!

Also try the 40mm Pancake. Its 90g and tiny.

Thanks guys that's some help - I'm a little disappointed to hear of distortion and the maximum aperture isn't huge but then neither is the lens.

40mm seems a little long for a walkabout lens.

Got to earn the money first though!
