Pentax 1st DS raw and Adobe Photoshop CS, Help

Just purchased a 1st DS and own Photoshop CS, both for Mac 10.3 and Windows 2000. When checking the Adobe website for a DS raw plugin I could only find one for the 1st D. Yes, I found a download for the DS, if I have CS2. What are my raw processing options, short of having to puchase a new software package?

I have the Ds and Photoshop CS exactly like you and find that the RAW 2.4 plugin works perfectly with the Ds PEF even though it is not listed.

Try RawShooterEssentials 2005 from www.pixmantec.com . It's a very capable piece of software, has batch processing capability, and most importantly . . . its free. It works with ist-D & DS. DL compatibility to follow.

I suspect that the .pef's produced by both cameras follow the same standards. You probably can use ACR. Try it and report back.
