Howdy
some time ago it was annouced that Pentax would be releasing a 10MP SLR in "Spring 2006".
Well spring is almost here and I still haven't been able to find out what the story is with this model.
Does anyone know anything concrete? When and where will it be available? Rough costs? Feature lists? Even a model number?
Thanks
J

According to pdml there will be a press-release from Pentax in September, and all info is embargoed til then:

Though how reliable that is is anyone's guess.

The official release date is September 15 or thereabouts. As to price, it's all speculation. Hopefully it'll be a pro version like the D, two finger wheels and no silly "scene" modes.

Of course, there are rumors now of a K1D, which would be the pro version of the K10D.

Pentax is prettty tight-lipped about their releases. W'll know in about a month!!

Ahh, yes, maybe, but . . . do we wait for the rumoured K1D?

Whilst the K10D is expected to be very affordable, the K1D (if it ever happens) will be aimed high, with a price to match.

The problem with good divorce lawyers is that whatever they save you in alimony goes on their fees.
