Afraid not, but I quote from May's "Digital Camera" .... (page 20)
Techart has launched the world's first autofocus adaptor for manual lenses. (....) the device enables you to turn a manual Leica M lens into an auto focus lens. It can also be used with other lenses. $349 www.techartpro.com
Since it's in a respected magazine, we must have imagined the Pentax one in our dreams?
Give 'em their due, they did provide us with some quite positive editorial in the same edition

Are you suggesting there isn't such a thing?Since it's in a respected magazine, we must have imagined the Pentax one in our dreams?

They're relatively common but folk don't wish to part with them! One sold on eBay recently for £150. There's currently a couple listed in Germany but at over £250. I'd happily sell mine if the OP wishes to make an offer in that region, otherwise I'd prefer to keep it.

It's OK, I know you posted tongue in cheek, but others may not realise that. Those others clearly include techmartpro whoever they are but suspect they should know better, being 'pro.'

I wonder if that old F era accessory was unique to Pentax at the time, or did the other SLR makers offer something similar ...?
If it was only Pentax then so far down the line I guess we could forgive any misinformed assumptions that creep in about things being a ' first' .
I must admit that I had never seen anything like the 1.7 AF adaptor and had to ask questions about how it worked when I first saw it here on PU.
