Im awaiting delivery of my K10 and was wondering which raw format people think is best and what conversion software to use. Ive been converting the pefs from my DL2 with raw shooter prem upto now as i just find the interface better than adobe camera raw. But are the best results to be found shooting in the dng format and using ACR? My gut feeling is to go with dng and ACR but would like some advice and comments from all you nice people
One day you'll find, 10yrs have got behind you.

There is no contest. Silkypix is best. By far the best colour balancing, and pretty quick. I've just downloaded the latest upgrade. Be interesting to see what has changed.

DNG will give you best compatability, but the PEF's are compressed, so you will fit more on your cards. Silkypix handles compressed PEF, Rawshooter probably doesn't as development has stopped after their sale to Adobe.

EDIT:-

Thanks for the tip-off, George, off to d/l/ 3.0.4 now!
