Panes & Panels - Project , or P&P-P

I started this project nearly two years ago but hadn't shot much for it. I have kind of woken up to the idea of shooting more for it now though.
I think some of you may have seen some of these images before?

The first image was taken with a Ricoh GX200 I must admit, so please forgive me for that one. The rest are Pentax.

I hope you enjoy looking at them.

The first three are from the same building but from different sides, yet the colours are quite different. Can anyone guess where in London?

Iqbal, #2, #3 and #4 were taken with the 16-45mm set at the long end, and #5 with the 21mm 3.2.
These type of images are easy to shoot, they're there for the taking, just look up. You must have some great architecture in Indonesia, no? I'd be interested in seeing your images of it when you get them.
A wide-angle is not necessarily the best lens to use, it's best to use a standard zoom and a longer zoom lens and see what opportunities they open up for you.

These images are like eye candy, but as with all candy it tastes great but it has no nutrients.

Number 3 is outstanding. No idea where it is but I'd guess in the City. Saw something similar to No 4, but on a much smaller scale, near Gt Portland St Station. I haven't been able to do it justice yet.
How are you finding the 21mm.
I'm tempted to get one because I loved my 35mm lens' field of view in my film days. ( and it would make the K20 just about pocketable.....)

Mark, you wouldn't believe how my 21mm/ (32mm) is bolted to my K20D, it's almost welded!! It's never been off the camera, and all my images for my Statues & Monuments project have been shot with this lens.

As you say, this lens makes the K20D so pocketable and what's more it's a fantastic lens, so much sharper than what you'll get from a zoom. I bought a metal screw-in lens hood for it and a Pentax lens cap that fits over the end of the hood. The lens and it's hood makes the whole unit look very compact, minimal and cool, too. You should get one.
I'm now saving the pennies for the 15mm, the quality is fantastic with these pancake lenses.

I have always considered the 35mm lens more suited to what we see with our eye, moreso than the 50mm lens.

I give up on the quiz Pauly. I even cheated by having a peek on your Flickr site but I can't place the building.

Damn, I have even spent a night in the Hilton there ! Didn't ring any bells.
