Hi,
They take 2 LR44 or SR44. The best place to get then is 7dayshop at http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=777_5_507. If you want to download a copy of the manual, you can get one at www.pentax-manuals.com

Hi John,
The SR44s are better as they are silver oxide, last longer and hold the voltage better. 7dayshop are charging £1.55 fo 5 which is very good. I got 40 button cells including 8 LR44 for 99p in a local discount shop. Guess how long they lasted?

I change the batteries in my P30T once per year and have never had a set fail. They would probably last much lomger than that, depending upon useage. (I use silver oxide SG13 cells)
Best regards, John
