Hi,
Full details can be found here ( http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/bodies/P/index.html ) but in short, the P30N had the ability to use aperture priority and was generally more user friendly. If you want copies of the manuals they are on my website here http://pentax-manuals.com/manuals/mf/mfmanuals.htm The P30N was almost indentical to the later P30T apart from the colour and and angled split image in the finder.
Regards
Kim

The P30T has a cable release socket on the side of the morror housing - and unusual location. Is the P30n the same?
Best regards, John

The P30 didn't have a cable release socket but the N, the T and the P50 all had one in the same place on the lens housing.

I have a P30 that my grandad gave me years ago but it doesnt have a remote shutter release cable capability.
Can anyone tell me what the P30N has over the P30, I'm assuming it is a later model?
Many Thanks
