They do seem to be having a great time, and nicely captured too
Whether your using a K1 or a K3 or K10D or a *ist DS really doesn't matter - it's a tool to allow you to capture the images you want. Some models are better suited to particular tasks but at the end of the day if you're happy with the way your camera works and the results are what you're after then you're onto a winner - as you clearly are!
Hope you have/had a great day at the wedding Bill

Thanks lennybloke. Wedding was great fun AND I managed to snap a few moments even though I was on official Father of the groom duties. billbarnes.co.uk for some pics.
My hope is that there are still such high end APS=C models from Pentax int he future. I photograph wildlife and the K1 is NOT what I need for lightweight walkabout telephoto if I need to replace in future. Shame i can't buy some of Sigma and Tamron lenses of late for such.

Had a perusal of the wedding photos Bill - looks like a great fun day
I don't see why Pentax wouldn't carry on producing top quality APS-C models - many of the technology developments are interchangeable between the two formats so effectively the costs are shared between the formats (even into the 645 series) - and Pentax do have one of the most extensive APS-C lens line ups already and appear to be planning more. I think the APS-C future is bright
