I know what you mean about the white balance, the first was on auto and the second on tungsten which was better. I must admit i do forget about it when indoors, something I must work on.

Shoot RAW+ and then you can go back and modify them. And you probably need something in between as the second has gone past white and into the blue.

You are right in shooting RAW but haven't got round to it yet, have elements on my laptop and played with it a bit but need a bit of time to learn it first. I do like shots straight out the camera but admit that PP should be an option. Do you really see blue in the second one as I honestly can't!

That is why I said RAW+ - which gives both RAW and a JPG at your chosen resolution. So you will have the JPG there immediately and if it is wrong you can use Elements or PDCU - Pentax Digital Camera Utility that comes with the camera to edit the RAW to give a new JPG.You are right in shooting RAW but haven't got round to it yet, have elements on my laptop and played with it a bit but need a bit of time to learn it first. As for colours - the new image is better. It was the shade on the front of the original which had most of the blue hue.

Make your first attempts in PDCU. The sliders are "live" so changes are immediate and you can see how a change to Colour Temp changes the image. Thanks for that, RAW+ looks the way to go then. I will give it a go and see how I get on.

In Elements it is a "pre-process" ...
And always work on a copy if you are practising.
