Oulton Park Gold Cup

A selection from the Gold Cup. It's hard to get the angles for some of these without trackside access, but there are some corners that are pretty good even from on the embankment. I've always tried to shoot motorsport on the highest shutter speeds, but of course you get no impression of movement like that so I was experimenting this weekend with manual control, sometimes to good effect. As always I have many very similar photos, and literally hundreds that are too blurred to be any use. Oh well, at least I haven't paid processing charges.

Had a minor heart-stopping moment when I thought I'd lost a load of shots, only to find (by reading the manual) that the Kx splits pictures not only by date, but into folders of 500 photos each. Must be the first time I've taken so many, but don't worry, I'm not going to post them all.

Any comments welcome.
