Great shot and you must have been really chuffed to see one in the wild.
I know there are otters at one of my usual spots - they have been seen on night cams in the garden of an adjacent village - but I have yet to see one. I think I can see their runs crossing a meadow between the reservoir and the direction of the village, so I think it's a case of right place / right time to see one.

thanks guys hoping for better sometime down the line. Its very unusual to see Otters during the day but apparently its a trend thats occurring all over the British Isles right now.

Well done ! Otters move so quickly they are not always easy to catch! I've never seen a wild one, only in wildlife parks.
