OS is it worth paying £150 extra?

I have the older non OS 50-500mm and I am more than happy with it. The inbody SR is pretty good, the main difference is that you don't see a stable image in the viewfinder.
Probably even less of a problem when used with a monopod and you are supposed to turn IS/OS off when on a tripod anyway.

I have seen a couple of second hand Sigma 150-500mm lenses for sale recently and wondered if it was worth paying approx £150 more just to have OS built into the lens?
If the camera has built in image stabilization and I'm most likely to use the lens on a monopod/tripod is is worth me spending £150 more?
Pentax K5D, Pentax 16-45mm f4 DA ED AL, Pentax 55-300mm ED, Pentax 100mm Macro f2.8 D-FA, Tamron 28-200mm, Sigma 170-500mm.
