Optio 30 - won't focus

My husband was "fiddling" with our Optio 30 the other night and now it won't focus. Everything in the LCD screen stays unfocused, and any pictures we try to take are very blurry and unfocused. I've "fiddled" with the settings myself, and even resorted to perusing the user's manual, but to no avail.

Can anyone help me on this? I'm going through withdrawals! And our camera is only about 3-4 months old. I have sent an email to the company's customer service, but figured I'd better ask around as well.

I'm having the same problem with my Optio 30 did you find a solution for it yet?

Same thing, different continent. We're in Canada and have an Optio 30 that won't focus (focus box stays red, never goes green.) All the menu text in the LCD is clear as a whistle but the photos are not clear (holding shutter button halfway never focuses)
