I'm looking to get some A3 prints produced, can anyone recommend a decent and reliable on-line supplier (like snapfish) that they have used, someone providing consistent results at reasonable prices with good customer service

I'm thinking of printing on matt in order to frame some images for friends and family.

I use these for canvas prints, they are a bit pricey but the quality is superb.

I did a search on the forum and decided on Bonusprint to get three large bigger than A3 prints done. It's a bit of an experiment really as i've never done this digitally before. I can let you know how they turn out if you like.

The other popular recommendations i found were: dscolourlabs, onevisionimaging, peakimaging and snapfish.

I have used BonusPrint for 16x12 prints and i have been more than happy with the results, Snapfish prints are a bit more contrasty and higher saturation if you prefer that in your images. I do`nt add any sharpening as some printers add their own so the results can be a bit over sharpened.

DS Colour Labs come highly recommended by several forum members who've used them, with very easy to use uploading software. Fuji Frontier printing up to 18 x 12 for £1.10 each.

I have had surprisingly good results from Tesco. I think a 20 x 16 poster print which is actually printed on Fuji photo paper was less than £5. Takes a week to be delviered in a rolled tube, but quality was very good I must admit.

I changed from a local Tesco Superstore to Snapfish/Truprint (same people); no comparison in image quality, and they are my no.1 choice.

Watch The Gadget Show on Monday night, Channel 5, 8pm. John Bentley is doing a review of different on-line photo printing services.

But does snapfish give you the correct profile to use for their printing process? I couldn't find one.

The Gadget Show episode I mentioned put Snapfish on top as their recommended on-line photo printing service based on quaility of print and price.
